The Directors, Members and Staff of Transparency International Vanuatu (TIV) welcome you to our website, which serves as a:
- Forum to find and exchange information, opinions and ideas on good governance, corruption and human rights;
- Link to reports, research, surveys, particularly in Vanuatu and the Pacific region;
- Link to news and events in Vanuatu and across the world. 

TIV is the Vanuatu chapter of Transparency International (TI), the global coalition with a presence in over 80 countries. TI is dedicated to increasing government accountability and curbing both international and national corruption. TI believes that corruption is one of the greatest challenges of the contemporary world. Since TI’s launch in 1993, corruption has become a global issue and the World Bank among others has credited TI’s key role in achieving this.

We fully support TI’s Vision, Objectives and Guiding Principles and Mission and Strategy as the only international non-governmental organization focusing exclusively on the issue of corruption. TI believes that corruption is one of the greatest challenges of the contemporary world. Raising awareness about corruption is the key to combating its evil and freeing our people of it.

The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing.
